Women in Lodging - Fashion Night Out
September 8, 2011, 4:30-6:00 p.m.
Fred's at Barney's New York (Scottsdale Fashion Square)
Don't miss our Arizona Women in Lodging (WIL) event that will be held in conjunction with Scottsdale Fashion Square's "Fashion Night Out". Enjoy an evening of networking at the posh Fred's at Barney's NY and a "Dress for Success" presentation by a Westcor fashion expert. Afterwards, embark on the fashion event of the year from 6 to 9 p.m. where retailers like Neiman Marcus, Anthropologie, Banana Republic, Bottega Veneta, Bulgari, Gucci, J. Crew, Intimacy, Juicy Couture, Max Mara, Salvatore Ferragamo, Sephora, Ted Baker, TOUS and more will host exclusive in-store events, trunk shows, special offers, door prizes and other added touches to make the evening memorable. ADA and Risk Management Seminars/Luncheon
12:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the Arizona Biltmore
Several changes have been made to the Accessibility Guidelines of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), mandating numerous changes to be in place at properties by March 12, 2012. Kevin Maher, Senior Vice President of Government Affairs for the American Hotel & Lodging Association, will present a one-time seminar that will walk you through the changes. After lunch, Tim Zehring, one of the foremost experts in risk management and premises liability, a 22-year veteran of the Mesa Police Department and Director of Risk Management for Sterling Grant and Associates, will offer his expertise on what you can do to keep your property and guests safe. Then, Ryan Gielow from Arizona Exterminating Co., a 28-year commercial pest inspector with experience in entomology, pesticide use, pest biology and best practices will present "Bed Bugs...
